It's getting too hard to weed out the scammers on here. Ebay has devolved into a low-trust environment where every transaction feels like a potential crap shoot. It's anybody's guess whether or not the seller even has the item they listed anymore. A lot of greasy low-lifes on here think it's good customer service to needlessly antagonize a customer for weeks on end over chump change. I'm not gonna keep throwing good money after bad. If Ebay wants to cater to bottom feeders and alienate loyal customers who have been here for decades, then they'll have to deal with the consequences of that choice. Farewell.

It's all moot at this point anyway. I've been loading up my cart on that other site and noticing how much cheaper everything is there. Not a little bit cheaper, but a lot cheaper.
I copied everything in my Ebay cart that I planned to buy in the next 2 or 3 months to the other site, where I'll be able to buy it all in one go instead of spreading it out over 2 or 3 months. Now I wonder why I've been paying more for Ebay hassles all these years.
If I was a smug Big Tech company, I'd think about getting un-smug mighty darned quick!

OP4 months agoIt gets even better. The feedback I left for the seller who scammed me has been deleted already. No wonder they keep getting away with cheating people. Ebay is covering for them.
