Boycott Girl scout cookie sellers
Why is eBay not putting a stop to these greedy ignoramus sellers posting insane prices for girl scout cookies? Is this what we have become? Greedy money hungry animals price gouging girl scout cookies? Everyone needs to boycott these sellers since eBay won't put a stop to it! This is completely insane! Page after page after page of posts selling 1 box of girl scout cookies for up to $155! It's disgusting how our world has evolved!

Mentor3 years agoSellers set prices on their items and buyers decide whether or not to buy them. Just ignore those listings as you would any other where the price is more than you want to spend.
Price gouging is charging exorbitant prices for items in short supply during an emergency situation (such as a hurricane, a worldwide pandemic, a train derailment that causes an explosion, etc.). It doesn't apply to girl scout cookies.
There are plenty of listings for girl scout cookies at reasonable prices.
(I saw only three listings out there for $150+ and all of them are for multiple boxes.)
