bought an item that is not what they have listed and there is no returns
so I saw something about the eBay promise for e refund. I keep getting all this canned automated stuff. i cannot start a return because the seller does not accept returns. I bought some driftwood for my aquarium, said it was Mopani in their ad, which is a hardwood that i need for some catfish i have that actually rasp on the wood and it's part of their diet. They sent me Majoywoo driftwood which is an artificial resin, even the descriptions of the stuff is deceptive on the internet. so the seller is saying they are selling one item but shipping a fake. how can i get the ebay promise thing to start.

Mentor1 year agoYou do not need a human to help you. ebay has automated return requests when the item received is not as described. Please go to your Purchase history, locate the listing, and follow the directions posted earlier.

Mentor1 year agoGo to My ebay > Purchase History and select RETURN THIS ITEM. You have up to 30 days from receipt of the item. Select a reason. For Not as Described, you will need to click on More actions. The seller will have 3 days to reply. If no reply, then click the link to Ask ebay to step in. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and make sure the carrier scans the label. Once tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, s/he has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
ebay's Money Back Guarantee trumps your seller's no return policy when the Item is Not as Described.

OP1 year agodid you not actually read my post. The seller does not accept returns. I saw something about the ebay promise. I need an eBay human to help not their AI, how do I do that?
