Bought an item from a seller but received from amazon

I just bought a item from a seller who could not give me a good tracking number and when received it came from amazon. It was sold to me for 30 dollars more than what it is on amazon. It It ok for sellers to do that?

It all depends on if you received a gift receipt in the package or not. Many sellers on eBay are also sellers on Amazon. They use the fulfillment service on Amazon to ship their eBay sales. However, they are not allowed to just make a purchase from an Amazon seller and have them ship it to you. This is a violation of both eBay and Amazon rules.

So if you see a gift receipt in the package you can report the seller to eBay and Amazon for a policy violation.

Of course it is. They can sell an item for how ever much they want. Was there a receipt in the box?
