Bought an item and my old address auto filled. Seller isn't responding.
Hey everyone, this is definitely a mistake on my behalf. I have bought multiple times on eBay and thankfully it's been a smooth ride up until now. I bought an item, and I thought I had deleted my old address so when I clicked auto fill it didn't register which address had been filled out until a couple of hours had passed. My mistake and not upset by it at all. I have messaged the seller to inform them about it, to see if they would be willing to cancel and re-list but no response. They haven't marked it as shipped, which I know some sellers won't. My concern is what do I do from here? I would be okay with it getting delivered to the old address if I could track it, but I'm currently sitting blind at the moment and have never dealt with this before.

The seller is required to ship to the address that was provided by Ebay.
Do you have a forwarding address on file with USPS?
Change your Ebay shipping address for future purchases:

OP3 years agoYeah, I knew that was the case. That’s why I was hoping to cancel and just re-buy it. I do have a forwarding address, but does it matter if it’s being shipped through FedEx?

OP3 years agoSo it turns out it won’t get forwarded to my new address through FedEx. The only way I could get it sent here is to change the delivery address of the package with the tracking number on the FedEx site. Which unfortunately I don’t have.
