Bought an defective compressor
I purchased a compressor which I later learned had a no return policy.On checking the compressor motor winding ,across two terminals the winding was open circuit.Please advise what to do ?Ebay said returns was closed.

Mentor3 years agoAny time a buyer files an Item Not as Described, ebay's Money Back Guarantee trumps the seller's no return policy. Seller will accept the return. If seller refuses, ebay can refund the buyer, seller gets a defect recorded on his account, the FVF is not credited, and the buyer does not need to return the item, and no one can leave feedback.
If the case was closed, it sounds like you selected a buyer's remorse reason: didn't like it, changed mind, doesn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. For those reasons, the seller can decline the return, and the case is closed.
If that is what happened, you can file a case with Paypal if that is how you paid, or a chargeback with your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.
