bought Allstate insurance for a used item which died and the Allstate insurrance wont respond, why?

Hi,

So I bought a used Akai MPK mini for around 50 dollars, there was the option to add a protection plan with Allstate as we all see whenever we shop used on ebay, so on this little Akai I bought the protection plan, the mini keyboard died a month or so later, I contacted Allstate through their website, I opened a claim by adding all the information, and after I completed everything, it gave a message saying: (the item you describe is still under manufacturers warranty and you should go there) but the device is used! according to the SS number it is 10 years old, so there is NO such thing as manufacturers warranty! no one to talk to, nothing else! dead end! has anybody here try to use Allsate in a similar way?

Hi, thank you for that piece of info, I realized that my self and that's why I wrote a nice 1 star review, and in the review I also mention ebay getting a 1 star as well, because I tried to contact ebay in regards to this and they are nowhere to be found. but thank you for the number I will give it a shot.

@notis1982 I am sorry, I hate to say but I would NEVER EVER buy an Allstate warranty. I hear too many stories of them not honoring warranties.
