Bought a knockoff product that was labeled the wrong size
cgmr1729 seller, CGMR International sold a fake pair of Sketchers shoes that were not only fake trash but they sold them as size 10 when they’re smaller like a 7. They wouldn’t issue a return and said I was the one at fault so I wrote negative feedback. They proceeded with feedback extortion saying they would issue a refund if I removed the feedback. I didn’t remove the feedback.
Next thing, they told me MY seller account would get negative feedback. A newly created account then purchased the lowest priced item in my shop. The buyer started messaging me immediately with strange questions that sounded familiar to the seller CGMR who I had already blocked. The sinister, harassing messages came from a burner account that was based in Rochester, NY - just like the seller.
Ebay assured that I could do a refund but the window has passed and I still don’t have the option here. If it isn’t possible by tomorrow, I’ll try to dispute the charges with my bank. I wish Ebay would respond to my reports and help. Does anyone have any ideas?

OP11 months agoThis happened on 08.19.25, so Ebay should still be able to help? They are going to let fraudulent people on their platform who violate the terms of service?
You misunderstood my post in that the Seller made a burner account to buy something from MY Ebay shop in order to leave ME bad feedback. That is the level of harassment I am dealing with.

Mentor11 months agoeBay can only help within 30 days from receipt of the item. After this time has passed you need to go back to your funding source and ask for a charge back. This costs the seller a $20 fee for eBay having to handle the charge back. Buyers normally win charge backs since your funding source makes the decision and not eBay.
By the way sellers cannot leave buyers with any feedback other than positive feedback with positive comments. If the seller would leave a positive feedback with negative comments you can contact eBay customer service and the comments will be removed and the seller will receive a policy violation on their account.
