bought a fake, but more than 30 days have already passed since the purchase.
Summary: myabyss bought a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and discovered it was fake after visiting an official repair center. With no response from the seller and eBay refusing assistance due to the 30-day limit passing, glorybells suggested trying a chargeback through a credit card, which can offer up to 180 days to dispute a purchase.
Hi,
I bought Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, but realized it is a fake 4months later. I visited the official Samsung repair center due to the malfunction on the touch screen of the phone, then the crew said any after-sales service is not available for the phone because it is not authentic. I tried to contact the seller, but there was no response. Reported it and contacted Ebay, but the agent just said it have already passed 30days after the sales, thus there is nothing ebay can support. what can I do?

·1 month agoThere’s nothing you can do through eBay, but most credit cards give you up to 180 days to open a chargeback, so you can try that.
