Bought a catalytic converter which had a defect but seller won't reply on warranty instructions

Listing stated it had 4 year warranty but I am unable to find the manufacture info online so I reached out and they sent me a link to leave some sort of ai review and just ghosted me. Did I get scammed? It was installed a few months ago so no option to return and I had to take the car back from the mechanics.

You have likely fallen victim to a warranty scam. Budget automotive parts sold on marketplaces often advertise "fake" 2- to 5-year warranties to drive sales, knowing that buyers will be unable to enforce them after the platform's standard 30-day protection window expires. By ghosting you and tricking you with a review link, the seller is stalling to prevent you from hurting their store rating or taking further action.

All you can do now is File a chargeback through your payment method.
