both buyer and seller were charged shipping and I cannot find a way to get it resolved.
I sold an item and the buyer paid for shipping. When I attempted to print the label it required me to pay for the shipping. Now I cannot get through to ANYONE at ebay to help resolve this issue. Any ideas???????

Mentor4 months agoYOU didn't pay for the shipping, you used the money the BUYER gave YOU to purchase the label. The buyer can't purchase their own label.
It's like I give you a $5 bill and ask you to grab me a soda at the store........you are using the money I gave you to pay for the soda because I can't because I'm not at the store.

Mentor4 months agoIf the buyer pays for the shipping cost, that is included in the money you will receive (after fees) For the item.
You purchase the label and if you use eBay shipping you can use the pending funds to pay for that label.
The seller is the only one that purchases and pays for the label. The buyer Pays the seller the price of item, plus any shipping indicated. There is no double payment.

The buyer pays you the shipping and you use that to purchase the label. The buyer nor eBay purchases the shipping label.
The buyer's payment to eBay includes the item, the shipping you set on your listing, and any tax they owe. eBay takes their selling fees out and sends you the balance.
