Book Written in 1897 The Methods of Glass Blowing: For Use of Physical and Chemical Students
For your general information. This glassblowing book is not about current torch glassblowing. It was originally, Written in 1897 and is for chemical glass blowing work on laboratory glass (as stated in the description), not for making color glass beads or marbles or such current color glass items. The cover of the book is very deceiving, as it shows current glass color studio glass work, which this vintage published book, does not contain this type of glass work.
It is possible that the new publications reprints of this book, which were first published in 1897, has no copyright laws to protect it from being reprinted by anyone.
Adding a picture on the cover that implies that this book contains current color glass torch work, is just a way to get people to purchase this book. The book is all in Black and White as it was printed over a hundred years ago.
SO Beware, if what you will actually be getting if you purchase this book... Ask the seller to send some pictures of the pages from this book and see what you get. There are plenty of currently published good books on torch glass working/blowing, that show pictures of the pages inside the book.
