Bogus negative feedback
I have listed some baseball cards for sale recently and had no problems and all positive feedback. Then, out of the blue some guy sends me this nasty, offensive message, scolding me about my photos of the cards and the condition of the card he received. I know Ebay always takes the buyers side, so, even though he requested a return, I gave him a full refund and let him keep the card. He does not dispute that the photos ARE of the card in question. The pictures are perfectly clear, unlike many seller photos I have seen, and when I look at them and zoom in on the areas he complained about, it proves that there is no crease and no staining. There is no way I could conceal staining. Yet, even after giving him a full refund, he leaves me a nasty, negative feedback, ruining my 100% positive feedback of over 20 years. How can he make false claims and ruin my feedback for potential buyers and I am only allowed to leave him a positive, improving his score? Can I have Ebay review this feedback and remove it?
