Bob cancelled my order
Hello my name is Avelino and this happened to me.
I bought a $400 laptop motherboard, the seller ask me if I'm sure that's the right "part" I need for my computer because he has had customers returned incorrect parts they though were the one they needed, sometimes broken on top of that.
I say I don't have the same exact laptop model but I'm confident enough that I'll work because I've done my research and the chasis is the same, anyway I could just get that an external keyboard and monitor and if everything is right with board should work just fine, it really doesn't need anything else besides the cooling system that I order and the 230w power supply.
Seller replied he cannot give me the 30 day return policy because Im not ordering that motherboard for the right Laptop, at this point I'm thinking like honestly what do you care?
Long story short he cancelled the order and I have the rest of the parts on my way I got the refund from him but I'm going to have to pay restocking fees and shipment for all the other components I order to make that board work. I contacted ebay and they told me since the cancellation is complete they cannot longer do anything about it.

OP3 years agoWhat about the parts I'll have to return and fees, I'll have to get different components for different board and that was the only board on it's kind that was available on the hole ebay market. I'd say money is the main reason, I'm not rich to be paying return shipment and fees everytime the seller want to cancel my order because he think it's not going to work out for me

Mentor3 years agoThe seller had nothing to do with you buying those other components. Certainly there must be another motherboard you can find.
What reason did ebay say the seller used to cancel the transaction?
