I want to block sellers who charge too much, so I do not have to see their terrible listings. I have used this site for over a quarter of a century, and this has never been an option. If you want to improve the site, and not just the scammers' potential for ripping people off, you'd add the option. Finally, keep the blocked list available in My Ebay, so that people can adjust. When that brings in extra revenue, feel free to remunerate.

When searching, you can set a price range, so that listings outside your chosen range are not shown.
You can also block sellers by username (not store name) if you decide that you do not want to see a particular seller's items in your search. Up to ten sellers can be blocked in a search that way. If you save or bookmark the search and use the search as a starting point, you can continue to block those sellers' items from appearing in your search results.
Thank you for addressing. This has been the solution for a long time, but it does not achieve what an outright block would. It does help a lot for targeted searching (example: The Days Are Just Packed, by Watterson). However, imagine you want to search broadly, such as for a brand: Lego sets, Honda cars, Gibson guitars, etc., which is how I use the site most of the time. Those results would yield much better options with blocking in place. The net result would be more successful sales, and everyone left behind could shake hands with the invisible hand of the free market.
I just saw your response to another question about bad faith, and it had the same two qualities: 1. it did not address the question, and 2. was itself in bad faith.
If your answer is the back button, and you truly represent this company, my answer is the cancel account button.
