In this day and age, why is the option for the “Buyer” not available to block “Sellers”?

You can EXCLUDE certain sellers’ items from appearing in your searches if you wish.
Use Advanced Search; scroll down to ‘Sellers’; change ‘Include’ to ‘Exclude’; list Usernames of sellers whose items you don’t wish to see.
You also can ‘block’ anyone you want from buying from you. You just can’t block yourself from buying from sellers, because it’s unnecessary. You are free to buy from whoever you want.

I told you how to stop seeing the items of those sellers you wish to avoid buying from.
What kind of block do you want? [You appear to have some specific ‘option’ in mind … and wondering why eBay hasn’t granted your unstated wish for that option. What option do you want? 🤔]

Do you want eBay to block you from buying from certain sellers? Sellers already cannot force anyone to buy from them.
Please … think it through, and then tell us specifically what you want to be able to do … and please don’t pretend you aren’t being understood when you haven’t described the option you expect eBay to have already implemented in this day and age. 🙂

OP4 months agoNow would be a great time when as a buyer and / or potential seller to just be able to block somebody would come in handy. It’s a simple question and does not deserve this kind of back and forth. I tried to be direct and polite with you but obviously that is not working.

Mentor4 months agoYes, I am trying to pin you down as to what specifically you want a 'block of sellers' to do, as you seem to think the word 'block' has a single, self-evident meaning.
I noticed this is your first post in the eBay Community, and I regret that I'm repeatedly asking you to explain yourself ... BUT I don't know why my original answer wasn't accepted. 'Excluding' sellers from our searches is the equivalent of 'blocking' buyers from buying.
