blocking all future unpaid buyers
I have been ghosted twice from winning ebay bidders that did not pay and would not communicate regarding this problem. I am very frustrated the Ebay has removed the negative feedback option for sellers. I had to go through the numerous positive comments to find the one that said "seller beware- buyer did not pay" This is very frustrating as some auctions are timely and can reduce the sale amount due to having to wait for payment and relisting. I have searched Ebay's help screens to find out how to block ALL future buyers that have done this in the past. All I'm finding is how to block that individual buyer that just ghosted you. Is there not a way to block all future non-paying customers. I feel like Ebay is protecting the buyer a lot more than the seller!! Any help would be welcomed.

Sellers have not been able to leave negative feedback for Buyers since 2008. If you go to your Account Settings and Selling Preferences, there is a link to limit the types of Buyers that can purchase from you.
One of those options is to automatically block Buyers who cause cancelations due to nonpayment. I have mine set to two cancelations in 12 months.

OP2 years agoYes. That was helpful. I did check my settings and I did have it set, however, they only allow the least amount to set to 2 unpaid in 1 month. It would be nice to not have to sell to anyone that has abused ebay's policy. It's just so frustrating when people do this!
