Blocked Buyer
There was a buyer that was problematic for us and so we put them on our blocked buyer’s list. Due to an eBay glitch, that buyer successfully made a last minute bid, won an auction and paid for that item. We contacted eBay and they acknowledged that the buyer was on our blocked buyer’s list and the purchase should not have happened. They told us that they would fix their glitch and to cancel the order, since it was erroneous. We asked about notifying the buyer but since the buyer was problematic, they advised us not to. Now the buyer has posted negative feedback on that item saying we cancelled the order without explanation, which is true, but on eBay’s recommendation. eBay will not remove the feedback since the order was not cancelled by the buyer and this is their “buying experience.†So do not expect help from eBay when they screw up and if it ruins your perfect feedback score, it’s just too bad.

Wow, did you ever get taken across by bad advice from eBay.
When you say the Buyer could be problematic can you expand on that?
Was the item expensive?
