BLACKMAILED on Ebay for $20
I sold a knife which was fine, nothing wrong with it. The buyer notified me that it was "Corroded" (it was not!), and they wanted $25 sent to them since the knife was not "NEW" as advertised. I replied that it was new and that I would NOT pay them "flashpointnova" the extra money. THEN they gave (GOD bless their little hearts) me, NEGATIVE FEEDBACK and Ebay REFUSED to REMOVE it! WAS IT NOT BLACKMAIL EBAY, OR ARE YOU BLIND???

I looked at the pictures and got the impression that the sheath was not clean as a whistle. Maybe it was caused by the light. The pictures are not very clear.
You could have offered a return and send a return label.
Conform eBay's policy: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/handling-return-requests?id=4115

·3 years agoThe buyer thinks there is something wrong. That counts normally, according to eBay.
Not sure if the buyer requested a return officially, but he can get a full refund and keep the item after asking eBay to step in.
That is the policy you didn't notice in the link I gave.
