Bizarre Bidding
Someone with no previous purchases has bid 37 times (no kidding) on an item. But any other bidder(s) dropped out of the bidding approximately after this guy's 7th bid.
Â
But with his next 30 bids, the item's price kept increasing. How can that be? He was the only bidder, but the bid kept going up until it reached $300.Â
Â
The guy made five or six more bids at the $300 level but now ebay's bid price stayed the same.Â
Â
COULD THIS BE THE SELLER HIMSELF BIDDING ON HIS OWN ITEM TO MAKE SURE HE WILL A HIGH PRICE? IF SO, HOW COULD EBAY PERMIT THIS?

Mentor4 months agoSellers cannot bid on their own items. Why would a seller want to be the high bidder, since he will end up paying higher fees and not sell the item? What is the item number?
