Billed for Cancellation and Relist
I listed an item with a minimum of $2,900. After one bid was made, I discovered an unintentional error that provided inaccurate information in the title and description. I was unable to edit to correct the error, so I ended the auction then immediately relisted it with accurate information. I'm now told I owe almost $400. I can't find any way to dispute this. Thoughts?

Mentor1 year agoAnytime there is a bid on a listing, no revisions can be made. Did you cancel the bid, and then End the listing? ebay charges the FVF on the highest bid as a penalty for the cancellation. In the past they did waive one charge per calendar year. You can contact ebay customer service and ask.
