Big Purchases BLOCKED for new buyer
Summary: tcgcard-26 is new to eBay and created an account to purchase bulk items valued over $1,000 each, but is unable to do so as eBay restricts new buyers from purchasing expensive items. They are unsure of how to circumvent the limitation, questioning whether to buy cheaper items to build purchase history or simply wait. New to Ebay. I created the account specifically to order bulk products ($1,000+/each). Ebay will not allow me to buy any of these items, as i am a "new buyer" and that's an "expensive item". I don't dispute either of these claims, but nobody in customer service can tell me how to solve it. Do I need to buy a bunch of cheaper stuff that i don't actually want or need, just to satisfy the almighty algorithm? Do I need to buy one item under $10 everyday for a month? Do I need to buy increasingly more expensive things, so that the $1,000 price tag isn't that big of a jump? Do I just need to wait a certain amount of time, and then it'll let me buy them? If so, how long? a week? a month? a year? 10?
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated, as everyday i can't order these things is another day I can't start my business.

All buyer accounts have limits; newer accounts have lower limits.
Adding a payment method and verifying your identity can help to raise a limit quickly, as can successfully completing transactions.
