BIG PROBLEM getting my payment
I sold an item and it was delivered according to eBay and the Post Office. The purchaser opened a case that he never received the item. I contacted Ebay and the Post Office and both said it was properly delivered. They then informed me a few times that the complaint would be settled in my favor and I would get my full payment and I also would not get negative feedback from the purchaser. It turns out later on that it is likely that it was delivered to the wrong address. I have asked the purchaser to make a police report 4 times which is very easy in Round Rock Texas because you can do it online. Ebay refunded him the full amount out of my debit card account. I put a stop payment on that. The reason eBay gave me was that I did not get a signature upon the delivery. They said that was mandatory and I asked you informed me that it was mandatory. They said when I go through eBay shipping it's a mandatory instruction and that's how I should know. I told them I did not use eBay shipping I am right next to the Post Office so I shipped it myself so I was never notified of this mandatory signature requirement Ebay agreed that that was wrong that they never did inform me so I was unaware that I needed to get a signature. The bottom line is someone has my product that shouldn't have it and I don't have my money and eBay guaranteed me that I would get my money with no negative feedback and that they misinformed me about the signature issue. How can I get positive reults?

Mentor2 years agoIf you had printed your shipping label using ebay shipping, you get a discount, and I believe you would also see a message that signature is required (for items that are $750 or higher).
