Big delay on item sold on ebay

Question

I sold an item, money was paid, and I shipped on Oct 4th to Texas from Nevada. Current status of my money is on hold because there is no receipt yet? Can someone help me to understand if I am missing something or is this the normal timeline. Thx

Since you are a newer seller eBay will hold your funds for 30 days unless tracking shows the item delivered prior to this time limit. What does the tracking show? If the USPS tracking shows delivery but the eBay tracking does not then you need to contact eBay customer service and have them manually check the tracking number on the USPS site. Tracking is not instant between eBay and the USPS so there can be delays.

Thanks - finally found shipping info to get tracking number and it was delivered so I will be contacting ebay customer service as you suggest.
