You never get a deal. Must be a minimum set on items.. have the win and watch the seconds, numerous times and loose items... ebay is rigged.!!!!

To win an auction you must be highest bidder when the auction is over. Bids can come in at any time right up until the last second, with not enough time to react and bid again, so it is important that you place your desired bid before the auction ends, and don't count on bidding again.

Many veteran bidders suggest deciding beforehand the maximum amount you are willing to pay, then bidding that amount once near the end of the auction. If the amount is a round number, consider adding a few odd cents to lessen the chances of a tie which would go to the earlier bidder.

If you bid your maximum and become the sole high bidder in a no-reserve auction, the only way you can lose is if someone else is willing to pay more than your maximum amount and actually does so before the auction ends.
