Buyer has not replied to my offer need to get out of the bid in order to purchase somewhere else seller not communicating not having any luck with eBay Customer service doesn’t seem like they exist. How can One retract a bid?

·2 years agoIf you mean an offer it will either be accepted or rejected/expire in 24 hours or less. You wait.
If you mean a bid, that is very much not a valid reason to retract a bid under eBay rules. You may contact the seller and beg him/her to cancel your bid before the auction ends, but s/he is under no obligation to do so nor to acknowledge the request, and neither not responding nor responding that it's OK with him/her nor that s/he doesn't know how is among the valid reasons.
The time to comparison shop is BEFORE you commit to buy (e.g. bid or make an offer), not while the bid/offer is still pending.
