Bids
Hi, everyone.
This Sunday morning I found myself in a very unpleasant situation. I know it is totally my mistake and I want to learn how to play on the safe side. Not bid at all?
I am very new to eBay and struggle with navigation and rules. Could you please give me an advice?
Here is my communication with the frustrated seller.

·3 years agoIt sounds like they have their account set up for eBay to automatically cancel for nonpayment and give you an unpaid item strike. One of those strikes won’t hurt you, but a second one within 12 months and you’ll be blocked from buying by most sellers.

·3 years agoYou bid on items and won and need to pay or you will receive Unpaid Item Strikes for each unpaid item. It only takes two Unpaid Item Strikes to make it difficult for you to bid on eBay because sellers block nonpayers. You will not receive negative feedback because buyers no longer get negative feedback, you just won't be able to bid on eBay. You will be restricted to Buying items outright with immediate payment required.
Cancelled sales cost the seller money and waste their time. eBay is a livelihood for many sellers.
