Sellers can block specific buyers they prefer not to do business with which may happen as a result of a previous transaction. Alternatively, sellers set up buyer requirements which may block buyers who don't meet them (for example, multi unpaid items, buyers with addresses that the seller doesn't ship to such as an international destination or a PO Box, limiting the number of items an inexperienced buyer can buy within a short window of time).
You'll need to move on to another seller.

OP10 months agoeBay message says to contact the seller. I did, but no response.
I have no issues I am aware of with paying, experience, etc. (100% rating) that would preclude me from bidding but for period of inactivity on eBay. Very frustrating.

What does the seller's feedback look like? Is this an experienced seller, or a new seller?

Member since 2016 and 97.5% Positive. Seems and upstanding business with large inventory - but with extraordinary sale of rolls.

Mentor10 months agoIt sounds like you do not meet the seller's Buyer Requirements; if the seller has blocked you specifically, the seller will not see your messages and you should find another seller.
If the seller responds to your message, there may be some way to figure out which requirement you are not meeting -- if the seller is willing to cooperate.
[edited to add: when you say "extraordinary sale of rolls", if the seller does not have positive feedback for such sales in the past -- and possibly even if the seller does -- you should be concerned that the seller may have wound up with a batch of counterfeit morgans, particularly if the price is "too good to be true". Anyone selling silver under spot or that does not have a lot of experience with those sorts of sales should be treated with suspicion.]

If not blocked personally as a result of being uncomfortable selling to you after a previous transaction, the reason might be a general block the seller is using to limit how many items a buyer can purchase within up to a 10 day period, or there could be an address restriction (no international sale, no PO boxes, no shipping outside the continental US).
I know it's frustrating not to know the exact reason, but you'll need to move on to another seller.
