Bidding and buying with eBay gift cards
If I’m the auction winner would I have time to purchase the necessary gift cards needed to pay the final amount. And if my eBay gift card total is less than the full anuction amount can the balance be paid with my card on file?

Mentor6 months ago@wellingtondave Why do you want to purchase gift cards to pay for a purchase? yes you can split the payment amount between a gift card and another payment method for most purchases.
You may be required to provide a payment prior to placing a bid or offer. If that is the way the seller has the listing set up then you will see a pop up window. You will not be able to use a gift card and most use a payment method such as a credit card or debit card that can have a pending test charge placed on it. The pending charge falls off if you do not win the item.
