Why was I prevented from bidding In the last 5 minutes of closing ??
my screen kept popping up to fill out a survey !! Immediately after this bid was closed the survey disappeared..

OP2 years agoI tried 3 different times and ways to get raid of this survey but I could not ! Please don’t tell me it’s my device! It’s devious and the seller would have gotten more fir his item ! Typical deceptive behavior from eBay

I didn't tell you it was your device. I asked you whether you were being asked to provide payment information in case you won the auction. That is something that is fairly new.
I don't know what was 'deceptive' or 'devious' ... or why you would think eBay would want to prevent the seller ... AND itself ... from making more money.
What kind of questions was the survey asking? [I'm trying to get a full picture of what happened.]

Was it a simply a 'survey' OR was it a request for payment information in case you won the auction?
