·3 years agoNo, they are not asking for payment, they are asking for a way to pay the seller if you win the auction.
They are changing how bids and offers are done.
Seller are tired of buyers making offers or placing bids, then not paying, so they are having buyers provide a payment source upfront so the seller can be paid.
