Bidding
Was bidding on an item. I bid $15, then another bid $15, bidding closed. The other bidder got it. Why didn’t I get it when it was sold for $15 and I was the first that bid $15?

Mentor8 months agoIf you were to look at the bidding history you would probably see that you were not the first bid at that price. Many bidders use the eBay max bidding system where they enter the maximum amount that they are willing to bid and eBay keeps them in the lead until their max bid is reached. Since this happened at the end of the auction the other bidder must had also placed a max bid of $15 and when you entered your bid eBay matched it with their max bid. Since they actually entered their bid first they won the auction.
