I've been on eBay for over 20 years and all of a sudden I can't place a bid. I've confirmed everything about payment and still can't bid. Anyone else having this issue?

Are you bidding on trading cards? Others have run into issues in that category; perhaps eBay has changed something, or perhaps the issue is with your chosen payment method.

Mentor10 months agoWithout knowing the actual wording on the error message, we can only guess. Have you had 2 unpaid items recently? That would keep you from bidding. Is this for the same seller each time? Or is it for the seller you left a neutral for? If so, they probably blocked you.

OP10 months agoYes, every one I try. I've contacting customer service but the wait is forever. It's crazy, I've been on eBay for 25 years and this just started yesterday.

·10 months agoAre you receiving a message or warning when you try to bid? And if so, what does that say? We cannot access your account, so we need to know what exactly is happening if you would like us to assist.

OP10 months agoA screen pops up for payment preferences. I confirm everything and hit confirm. Takes to bid page, I put in my bid amount and the place bid button stays gray. It will not let me bid. I've tried on multiple auctions.
