bidding
why does eBay change expiration time for bidding on. an item? for example; the bidding expiration time for an item was 8:30, then with one minute left until expiration the time change to 9:30. Also a couple items I was bidding on and apparently won totally disappeared and didn't show up as being won nor did they show up as being outbid on.

·2 years agoeBay displays endtime differently on different pages. On some pages it is in Pacific Time, but on others it is in what the servers deduce to be YOUR timezone (apparently based on your device settings). Are you maybe one timezone away from Pacific, and switched from one page to another in that "one minute" (e.g. Watch List to Listing Page)?

Another possibility is that this occurred one month ago when daylight savings time began for 2024. [The clock would have jumped ahead one hour at 2 AM on March 10th.]

·2 years agoeBay does not change the end times of listings.
eBay listing are all PST listings. Did you account for any differences between EST and Central time zones?
If you won an item, it will be in your purchase history, and you will receive an auto-generated invoice from eBay with payment instructions, unless the listing required auto payment, in which case, again, look in your purchase history.
If it is not in your purchase history, then you did not win.
