Bidding
I’m new to bidding. The item I want does Not Offer a “buy now†option. Will the stated shipping cost Always be added to the bid cost?

·2 years agoThe s/h fee to your location (for the option you choose if there is more than one option for carrier/class of service there) as set out in the Shipping, Returns, and Payments tab applies to auction wins, applies to Buy It Now, and applies to Best Offers (the s/h is NOT negotiable in a Best Offer) and offers from sellers. The only time it doesn't apply is if you use the back button to not take any action to attempt to buy the item (which you should use if you disagree with paying the s/h fee, or how long it is estimated to get to you, or the carrier or class of service if that is important to you beyond the estimated delivery time).
Figure out the grand total you are willing to pay for the item, and subtract from that the s/h (and sales tax applicable to your locality (9 digit zipcode) to get your "true maximum" you should bid (don't be in a hurry to bid). or base your Best Offer on, or whether or not to do a Buy It Now or accept a seller's offer.

Adding a BIN price to Auctions is optional for Sellers. Yes, shipping is added to the final bid price if you win ... plus sales tax on the total of the item PLUS shipping if your state charges sales tax.
