Bidders with specific seller
Has anyone ever noticed that there is numerous, and I believe same bidders who with different name number but have the same number of transactions. Examples 6***4 (334) then on another item with same seller 9***1 (334) , one another different item 3***8 (334) this has continued on 12 items I have bid on with one seller. This seems quite concerning. You think I am over thinking this or could it be I not kosher and is fraudulent practice.

Mentor10 months agoThose could be the same bidder; eBay scrambles the letters in the username for privacy reasons on bid history pages. Some bidders will bid on multiple items from a seller in an attempt to save on shipping if the seller has multiple items the buyer is interested in.

OP10 months agoDo you think this individual only bids 92.8% of time with this seller that would also be strange. It seems to be coincidence that it was same bidder on every item and feedback was exactly the same and did bid history on bidder and shows of 334 feedback rating he bid with this seller with the seller approximately 310 times. I see this as comical.

Since I am not looking at the page you are looking at, I cannot say exactly what is going on or whether it might have an innocent explanation or not.
If a buyer rarely bids on auctions, but finds several items from the same seller to bid on and wants to potentially combine shipping, it is very easy for that user to have an arbitrarily high percentage of bids with the same seller within thirty days. There have been 30-day periods where I have had 100% of my bids with the same seller, for instance.

On 310 different items, or just 310 bids? There can be a big difference between an average of ten bids on each of thirty-one items, or one bid on each of 310 items. The latter certainly sounds like a blatant case of shill bidding, the former much less so.
