@dbusse2357 ,
If the other bidder's name changed color after you clicked on their abbreviated username, it did so for that reason. It may be screen, color saturation or my perception of color but I now see a bidder's name I clicked on in a dark burgundy color.

Here is a screen shot from one of my auctions with bids, I blocked out part of the Bidder's ID for security purposes. Their ID is in the dark burgundy color but to be honest, in all the years of selling and Auctions in particular this is the first time I noticed this or if I saw it before it simply didn't register as being unique or important, other that that bidder happens to be winning the auction.
It also could have been a different color in the past and some bored IT guy was messing with text colors for that field and changed it.

@mr_lincoln ,
Hmmm, I didn't see that, what I saw was on the history itself after clicking on the ID, below is the Op's on the history page, after clicking on it. I guess I too never noticed or paid attention to it before.

Is that after the auction ends? When I check my Active list and view the high bidder column click the bid number to view the Bid history page while the auction is active all IDs are in black.

@dbusse2357 ,
A member's username will be Red, on a bid history, if they are a brand new member or if it is your username you are seeing in red it is because of that.
Hmmm. This person has quite a history of bidding on the kind of item we are bidding on. The name was originally default text color (black) then in the second bid that person made (nearly at the same time), the name turned red. Same thing?
Sorry, a screen shot would be helpful here, but I cannot figure out how to paste one in.

@dbusse2357 ,
You can post the ebay item number for the auction if you have the listing saved, then we can open the bid history, even if the auction has ended.
Use the take a screen shot option, set its parameters and download it. From your Downloads drag the file to this page. if it appears too small right click on it a box will open under it and you can make it larger.

I use a PC and if you are talking about the Active list in Seller Hub and the column with the high bidder mine are black. If you click on the bid number on the auction the bid history will open and mine are all black there too.
Prices on Auctions are red until a bid it placed then they change to green ... great for most people but not for those who are color blind to red & green.
