Bidder out of country and I am seller don't ship there
My listing states that I don't ship out of North America/United States and a buyer from Bolivia has a bid on the item. I emailed them to cancel their bid, but haven't done it. What should I do?

·3 years agoYou are not under any obligation to ship anywhere you didn't agree to ship. The buyer can only pay if s/he gives a shipping address in a location you've set up to ship to. If s/he does (many international buyers use forwarding services or friends or family in the US) your obligation is to deliver the item as described to that address, any forwarding from there voids the Money Back Guarantee. If s/he doesn't you can cancel for non-payment after 4 full days.
S/he was able to bid/buy because either s/he has a Primary Shipping Address in the US (e.g. the forwarding service) OR you didn't set your Buyer Requirements to block those with PSAs in a location you don't ship to (the default for all Buyer Requirements is OFF).
"The seller told me to" is NOT a valid reason for a bidder to retract his/her bid. Don't encourage rule violations. If you want the bid cancelled you need to cancel it yourself.

The listing shows you only ship to the USA. I am guessing your buyer in Bolivia is use a freight forwarder/reshipper, so you will be shipping to the USA.

·3 years agoThey might be in another country, but they could be using a US shipping address, usually a freight forwarder, which a lot of international buyers use.
