Bidder from Belgium couldn't bid on my car??
Can anyone help me? I had a classic car for sale on ebay and it didn't meet reserve. After the auction I got a message from a prospective buyer from Belgium who said that he tried to bid but ebay said he was not allowed. I checked which countries we can't sell to (Russia, Ukriaine, and others) and Belgium is not one of them. I've sold a number of cars overseas on ebay over the years. Has something changed or was this some kind of glitch? I'm relisting the car soon and want to know if there is something I should do different. Thanks for your help

OP2 years agoNo, I would just require both international or domestic buyers to be responsible for shipping. It means they both arrange and pay for shipping. Both domestic and international buyers contact their shipping brokers and get it done. It's how I have sold dozens of cars for 20 years on ebay. Here is how it reads in the details..

Will you be requiring your international buyer to come pick up the vehicle?
