Bid on item just disappeared with no record

Hello, I've been using eBay for over 20 years fairly successfully. I bid on an item this last week that was supposed to end early tomorrow morning. I cannot locate the item in bids and offers, or in items I didn't win and I cannot search for the seller anymore. I was told a certain bid was canceled and given an item number, but there's no way I can find what that item is because the item I'm looking for it has completely disappeared from the internet. Is this a new eBay policy where they allow sellers who are selling on multiple platforms to just ghost someone who bid on an item and leave no record? Thanks ahead of time for your help.

It sounds more like eBay removed the seller and the item because there was a problem with the seller's account.
What is the eBay Item Number for the listing? I can look at it
