Bid incorrectly
I was bidding on an item I went to enter 3.50 I messed up somehow I hit an extra 0 my bid came out $35.00 I wouldn’t have bid that high. Needless to say I won I contacted the seller as soon as I made the mistake never heard from them. Now with tax and all they have billed me over $50 what do I do

Mentor2 years agoYou could have RETRACTED the $35.00 bid and rebid $3.50 at the time. Since the seller did not respond to your message, if you do not pay within 4 days, the seller can file a cancellation for Buyer didn't pay. That will record a defect on your account. One won't hurt you, but don't get another one in the next 12 months, or you may find it difficult to bid/purchase from sellers who block buyers with 2 or more unpaid transactions. That block will last for 12 months.
