Bid cancellation
Just had a bid cancellation on one of my items that had hit $300! Now, the bid has reverted back to $103! The $103 bid has been entered by the same bidder over 25 times! I've had bid cancellations before, but not on this magnitude! I've also never encountered a bidder, who has continuously entered the same bid over & over & over! I suppose there's nothing I can do about it, but this is a substantial hit for me! I am NOT PLEASED with the bidder who did this! I'm gonna keep at it, but I just wanted to address the situation here on the forum, while letting off a little steam!

·2 years agoNo. The bidder bid $103.00 only ONE time, at 2 Oct 2023 at 10:28:34am PDT. All subsequent bids were for more than that, up to at least $295.00 so that you saw the current bid at $300.00 before the retraction, which you wouldn't have seen if the now leader's top bid was lower than that.
I would suspect that the retractor had multiple bids in the time between when the now leader placed the $103.00 bid and when s/he bid the $300.00 bid that s/he retracted (since there was more than 12 hours left to run at that time of retraction all prior bids by that bidder were also removed, but the retraction history only shows the last, highest bid) and the now leader "nibbled" against the retractor's earlier bid(s) at the minimum bid amounts.
