Why is ebay asking for additional account information while listing my bicycle helmet" I've been selling for quite a while and meet all the requirements as I understand them.

OP2 years agoThanks for your reply. I list items almost every day and haven't had any problems with managed payments post transition. I listed three items today and the only rejection i received was on the new bicycle helmet. Weird. Appreciate your time!

Mentor2 years ago@gatay-514. The helmets are one of the things that must be approved to be sold due to safety policies. That's why ebay was asking for more information.

Mentor2 years ago@gatay-514. Only eligible sellers can list bicycle helmets and they must be new. Here's the policy

Mentor2 years agoI am guessing you must not have been transitioned into ebay's Managed Payments, which is how we get paid now.

Make sure the ebay registered name is EXACTLY identical to the name on your checking account, including middle initial or middle name.
Make sure you also register a physical street address, no P.O. Boxes. That can be changed later if needed.
