Best offer
So why does eBay allow a seller to sell something and say best offer when the seller comes back with $1 off??? I was looking to purchase side steps for my truck. Seller had it listed at $188.99 1offered $180.. he comes with $188.00 eBay has become this big joke. These big companies don’t give a care about us people. If it wasn’t for us using them. They wouldn’t be where they are. Something needs to be done. Seller should just be like $188.99 that’s it. If your going to offer best offer. Make it a good one, not a **bleep** $1

I have two comments. The first one is, when I don't like a seller's stipulations, I find another seller. The second one is about the Best Offer. eBay has a habit of adding BO to a listing just on their own ... the seller isn't asked whether he wants it, and sometimes the seller doesn't even realize that eBay added it. And often, the seller doesn't know how to get the darn thing out of his listing. You might have found such a seller, who doesn't want any offers, never wanted offers, and resents eBay sticking it into his listing. He might be touchy about the subject, so please, cut him a break.
