best camera to take videos for ebay listing
To date, I've tried a Canon Powershot SX420 IS, a Sony ZV-1 and my apple iphone to upload a 10-12 second video. After making sure all the parameters are correct from the ebay article, I upload the video both by the computer upload and the drag and drop method. I've had 100% failure to upload a video. Does anyone have any suggestions on what camera works best, etc? I've spent about 40 + hours on this, read and watched numerous your tube videos and the results are the same.
Please let me know what the secret to success is.
Thanks in advance!!!

Are you using the Advanced listing tool? On this page they have a link to that listing tool: Adding a video to your listing | eBay
I've used my phone for a few videos that I have done and uploaded them to several venues, including eBay. They are short and I email them to myself from the phone. They are less than 9 seconds long, the phone email system will compress them if necessary. They are MP4 format and I save them to a video file which I can access when ready to upload them. Sometimes I have to change the aspect ratio depending on a given site's requirements but that is done pretty easily. The phone is a Samsung J3 (if memory serves) and is quite a few years old. I run Windows 11 and while I can't recall the step by step process for the aspect ration changes the system I have simply presents a pop up with choices, I pick the one I need and it is changed.
