Hello. I purchased an item but never received it. The seller listed it in the business & industrial category to avoid the money-back guarantee. How can I get a refund back? Thank you

If the seller purposely listed in the wrong category to avoid the money back guarantee, contact eBay customer service to have a case opened.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.

@rome1t . You most likely will have to file a BEPP claim but try customer service first. This is the link in case you need it after talking to customer service. https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/ebay-business-equipment-purchase-protection?id=4637 In the section where it asks for the sellers email just use your own. Note that if the seller is located in another country that the BEPP protection will not work. The last option for a refund will be a charge back with your funding source. Do NOT contact your funding source until after you exhaust all options with eBay. Once you go to your funding source eBay can no longer assist you.
