Below Standard Seller
I used to sell on eBay many years ago. This past year, I decided to resell again. I have 266 items listed as Buy it Now. I did pretty well as a part-time seller, but made some mistakes I didn't realize would affect my account. I had a couple of cancellations last year, unfortunately, because of broken or missing merchandise. I didn't experience any issues when I used to resell. Now my account has been Below Standard for the past 5 months. I couldn't appeal any of the cancellations because the time had expired.
I haven't sold much since September. I don't know how to increase my sales while I am in "eBay jail." I can't promote my sales because of it. I don't have a Store subscription. I am so frustrated. I am wondering if subscribing to a basic Store will help my performance? I do this part-time and want to do it full-time, but I am discouraged. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mentor6 months agoI was a below standard seller years ago. I had a Premium store and was a top rated seller. I had 3 packages that never got an acceptance scan. I refunded each of the buyers, but that didn't matter. I was restricted to listing 10 items per month. As the listings neared their 30 days, they were automatically ended. I couldn't do anything with those ended listings so they were automatically removed when they were 90 days old.
I found items I could list for $5 with free shipping. 7 of those items sold the first week. Now I had to wait until the new month rolled around before I could list another 10 items. All of this took several months, meanwhile I was being charged for the premium store. Eventually I became an above standard seller, and downgraded my store to Basic.
