Below standard from defects that were a mistake 6 months ago
When we first started selling trading cards on eBay we were posting so many listings we didn't realize that the software had lag and it constantly changes your buying now price down to 99 cents or switches it to an auction and I didn't know to double check these things until we started having these issues. We got hit with five marks on our account for having an item out of stock. We originally called eBay before we marked them out of stock ask the rep on the phone what do I mark this as because there's nothing that says incorrect price or software problem or problem with listing. So we marked them out of stock as we were told. This immediately put us into below standard sellers. We've done everything humanly possible to fix this error since this happened we have no new errors or issues other than one or two people putting in a claim and eBay stepping in before we could refund them even though we offer to refund to the customer first and they decided to wait and see if it arrived. eBay just stepped in and marked it in their favor and won't let me dispute it. I've spoken to the highest supervisor I can get to and the only thing I've been told is I can wait a year and then it'll be removed from my account or I can make more sales but they won't give me any more listings so how am I supposed to do that? Is this the worst system ever designed or am I just crazy? What does somebody do in this situation?

Mentor2 years agoYou need to sell more of what you have listed. You have a store, so you can use the marketing tools. A buy one get one x% off is a good choice for quickly boosting sales volume. I know it is hard to give discounts, but you are paying extra fees on all of your sales, so the faster you get out from under that, the better.
