below standard again
I am extremely dissatisfied with the way Ebay handles account status. I have been below standard for months now. From what I can tell, they are still taking into consideration the whole past year not just the current month sales to base their decision on. I just don't get it. Out of 283 sales there were 2 returns. Shipping is tricky where I live in the winter. We get storms so bad it shuts down postal services and then they get backed up because of it. I'm paying "extra" fees because of their below standard rating. Can anyone help me address this issue?

Check your dashboard metrics. Your seller rating isn't based on returns or late deliveries. It's based on cases you don't resolve as well as late shipping or not uploading tracking. eBay removes defects if you shipped late due to severe weather (where you either couldn't go out on the roads or the postal service in your area was shut down). eBay posts announcements about this regularly.
And yes, your ratings are based on the past 3 or 12 months depending on your sales volume.
