Being restricted from bidding by a seller
eBay should have some sort of guidelines and input on sellers who block a buyer from buying from or bidding on their listings. I’ve been blocked from one seller because I gave legitimate negative feedback on my their shipping rate and item description . Another blocked me because I returned a badly defective item whose defects had not been described nor pictured in the listing. Another blocked me because I realized with 3 hours of bidding left that I had mistakenly bid $877 instead of $8.77. eBay won’t allow bidders to retract bids on sport cards so I messaged 3 requests that the seller retract my bid with no response which resulted in o my winning the bidding at $30 above my desired limit. So I had to cancel. I avoid giving negative feedback because I fear being blocked and I’m sure others do too even though the shipping rates of some sellers is ridiculous. Several sellers of cards with 100% feedback charge $4-$5 to ship one card and even though I’m the one who has to pay, won’t negotiate
